  • Gil Clausen

    Co-founder, Chair & CEO

    Mr. Clausen is co-founder of Edge Copper. Mr. Clausen has a proven track record of successful leadership in the mining industry, with over 30 years of executive, financial, operations, business development, engineering and project management experience. He has led major mining operations, raised over a billion dollars in debt and equity, and managed large engineering and construction projects. He was most recently President and CEO and Director of Copper Mountain Mining Corporation, which was successfully acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in June 2023. Prior to that, Mr. Clausen was a founding member, President and CEO and Director of Brio Gold Inc., which was acquired by Leagold Mining Corp in May 2018, as well as a founding shareholder, President and CEO and Director of Augusta Resource Corporation, which was acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in September 2014. Mr. Clausen was also Executive Vice President, Mining at Washington Group, International Inc., Vice President Operations at Stillwater Mining, and held various operating roles at Placer Dome.

     

    Mr. Clausen has a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University.

  • Letitia Wong

    Co-founder, President and Director

    Ms. Wong is co-founder of Edge Copper and has over 20 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, strategic transactions, including closing three major corporate transactions and asset divestitures, finance and corporate governance in the mining industry.  She was most recently CFO at Copper Mountain Mining Corporation before it was a acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc. in 2023.  Prior, she was Vice President of Corporate Development and Corporate Secretary at Brio Gold Inc., which was acquired in 2018.  She was previously Vice President, Investor Relations at Augusta Resource Corporation before its acquisition in 2014, Wildcat Silver Corporation (Arizona Mining), and Ventana Gold, which was acquired in 2011. Ms. Wong was also Director, Investor Relations at Yamana Gold Inc. and held various positions in finance at TELUS Communications.

     

    Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is a CFA charterholder.

  • Patricia Fong

    CFO

    Ms. Fong has over 40 years of financing and accounting experience in the mining and oil and gas industries. Ms.  Fong has held various CFO positions for numerous exploration companies in the last 17 years.  Previously, she held the position as Controller of various exploration companies in Canada and the USA under the Lundin Group.  Ms. Fong is a CMA, CPA.

  • Kyle Lindahl

    COO

    Mr. Lindahl is a Mining Engineer with over 20 years of mining expertise spanning a variety of commodities including Copper, Zinc, Gold, Silver, Talc, and Molybdenum. His extensive experience encompasses engineering, design, operations, project management, business development, financial analysis, business plan execution, and team leadership, all underscored by a strong commitment to workplace safety. Mr. Lindahl was most recently COO and VP Project Development at New World Resources Ltd, which was acquired in 2025, where he successfully advanced the Antler Copper Project in Arizona.  Previously, he was at Stantec, Redpath, and Rio Tinto as a Mining Engineer.

     

    Mr. Lindahl has a Bachelor of Science degrees (BS Finance & BS Accounting) from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (Summa Cum Laude).  Mr. Lindahl also has an Executive MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Lindahl is a Professional Engineer (PE).

  • John Stefka

    Vice President – Environment & Community Relations

    Mr. Stefka has over 15 years of professional experience in environmental management, stakeholder engagement, permitting, and regulatory compliance within the North American mining sector. Mr. Stefka brings a proven track record of managing complex approvals processes and fostering meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. He most recently served as the Environment and Community Manager at New World Resources Ltd, which was acquired in 2025, where he successfully led community engagement and permitting of the Antler Project in Arizona.  Previously, Mr. Stefka has worked in Arizona as the Environmental Manager for Golden Vertex Corp. and in various environmental roles for Newmont Corporation.

     

    Mr. Stefka has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nevada – Reno and has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho.
